About Me

Lake Conroe Property Lake View

I’m a former CEO of a major company and then owned my own consulting business. Over 10 years ago I made the decision that even though I was making that multiple 6 figure income, I was not happy. I had a beautiful piece of property on Lake Conroe and a wonderful wife and I was never there to enjoy both. I had to find a way to stay home. Then I discovered personal development.

Now I am a true student of personal development. I’m 63 years young and have been studying personal development for over 10 years. Someone might ask. There are people that have studied personal development their entire lives; what makes you more qualified than those people to provide me with direction? There are actually two reasons and you can decide for yourself.

One; not only have I been a student, but it is also my business. Our personal development products are unmatched by any other products. How do I know that? It’s the results people, including myself have had in their lives. Now here is the key. Not only that, but by being with this company I surround myself by thousands of  like minded people and I’m part of weekly training calls and events. I’m always learning from other very successful entrepreneurs.

Two; I have experienced going from bankruptcy to where I am now; abundance in all areas of my life and most everything in between. I’ve been there, I’ve walked the walk and I’m able to always tell people what they deserve to hear, even though, it may not be necessarily what they want to hear.

It’s a beautiful thing. I’m still on my journey of discovering myself and assisting people to wake-up and discover their magnificent selves.

You learn in personal development that life is a journey, not a destination.

Personal development is our business and our life,

Hey Michael,
Great to hear your story.

I’ve always wanted to meet a CEO turned networker….

I am an avid Personal Development Student as well.

Well now you’ve met one Jamie. I’m just surprised that more CEO’s are not looking at network marketing as another option. When I think of all the long hours I have to put in, wow, it now seems ridiculous. Thanks for your comments.

Congratulations on your inspiring story. I am not sure what personal development means other than the broad brush.I discovered early in my corporate career I to manage and develop myself for there were many back in the day, that resented the inclusion of disadvantaged groups into the work place. For them including some of my direct managers their goal was to prove we did not belong. If I had only listened to them, I never would have developed the confidence to perform at a high level. Keep Hope Alive!

You may not totally understand what personal development is but sounds like you’re on the right track. Simply put personal development is about realizing that you are creating your life through your thoughts. Think positive thoughts that are in alignment with your North Star (what you’re passionate about) and you will attract that to you. Thing negative and you will attract that to you. I think you get the idea.

Hello Michael,

today I stumbled upon your page – nothing happens by chance. And self-development is the best one can do for him-/herself.
I am a student for myself for a long time and there is always something new to discover.

It could be so easy, change your mind, your way of thinking. When looking around this seems to be the hardest part for most of our fellow lodgers in this world-wide-community.

Sometimes it makes me happy, when I am able to bring a smile in a before sad looking face. As self-development for me not only means, change myself, but also to help others to change mood or mind.

Hi Michael,
I found your blog thru IBOtoolbox. I’m still learning how it all works but love your blog! My story is similar to you in that my husband and I have been thru bankruptcy and still trying to find our way back. We’ve lost everything and at 42 and 47 with 3 children it’s been a long hard road but I am confident we will make it. An old college friend found me on facebook and turned me on to Network Marketing and I was instantly attracted to the personal development. My blog is about personal development. It’s great to meet you and I’m going to bookmark your site so I can come back for a visit.
Make it a great day!

Hi Trish,
Thanks so much for your comments. If you would like my input on anything I would be pleased to assist you. If you don’t mind I will share my thoughts on success in network marketing. First, find a product or service you’re absolutely passionate about that you would never give up on regardless. Do not buy what some people are saying about multiple streams of income. The only people that are making any real money that way are people that have 100 of thousands of people in their downline or list and I still question their integrity of dragging people who are not making any money from one product or service to another.

That’s it make it an awesome day,

Life is definitely a journey, not a destination. You’ve lived a very interesting life. I admire anyone that has the guts to pursue their dreams. Most people cower and stick with the job security.

Thanks for sharing this great post.
