Superficial Signs of Success Exercise

by Michael Berry on February 5, 2015

Write down the superficial signs of success that you now have or that you wish that you had. Write the core ideals associated with these things.
Next, write down the High Impact Events that have created or inhibited both what you have and what you don’t have.
Now underline those things that you have that are actually a liability for you. Include those things that are not only a pretense but that you have to keep up the pretense to maintain having them.
Now write down the advice you would give someone else if they were living your life. Do you find truth in the words, “Everything you own, owns you?” If so, this will decrease dramatically as you practice the Center of My Universe concept.
Personal development is our business and our life.

In personal development we learn that “we all see and experience the world not as it is, but as we are”.
