When I talk about Action, I am talking about purposeful action, causative action. This is action that is backed up by thoughts, beliefs and decisions that are in alignment with your goals and desires, and that ultimately brings about results in line with your North Star and Compass Heading.
If you were able to see clearly beyond any doubt that you are the one who creates your life–the good, the bad, and the ugly–you would naturally take control of this power and start to use it purposefully.
For example, if you happened to notice that every time you think of a blue rabbit, $100 appear in your pocket, you would start thinking of blue rabbits as often as possible. You might even carry a note in your hand to read when your thoughts wander. Blue rabbits would quickly become your mantra. Once you realize that the act of thinking this particular thought results in the creation of money in your pocket, you will act accordingly to create this result. In fact you might even put pictures of blue rabbits around, just to remind you to think of a blue rabbit. This type of thinking creates a Purposeful Action when it is focused on bringing about a result you desire.
To the contrary, if your belief is that money is the root of all evil and the accumulation of wealth can lead to ruin, you might do everything you can to avoid all thoughts of blue rabbits. In this example, this, too, would be Purposeful Action, with a dramatically different result. Either result is based on being consistent in the belief system you hold about money.
Personal development is our business and our life.
In personal development we learn that “we all see and experience the world not as it is, but as we are”.
