Weaker Version Stronger Version of You
Sometimes you may feel like what you are doing is a waste of time. This is when the weaker version of you is working for the stronger, more causative version of you. When you recognize this take a win! The more you see this, the faster you are creating big things.
Here’s what this looks like. You come up with a big idea and in that moment you have certainty around it. As you begin the project or task and work toward completion on this task you will undoubtedly run into obstacles; you realize there is more to it than you initially thought. At this point it’s very natural to immediately feel like you’re just wasting your time. Perhaps it’s too big of a project, you don’t have all the necessary resources to complete it and the end result probably won’t be what you want anyways. During these times it’s easy for the lower self to pull the plug on the project. This is the monologue of the lower self.
For example, imagine a little boy who is building a model airplane that requires a skill level beyond his own. He makes good progress for a while, but he makes a mistake and becomes frustrated which leads to another mistake and, in a moment of extreme frustration, his lower self smashes the model and ends the project.
This little truth is, in fact, among the most important concepts to understand and recognize in this entire program. As this becomes your experience, more and more, the weaker versions of you will stop questioning the stronger version, and you will start to identify with the version of you that is the strongest. It is during these moments you will feel a sense of fulfillment and accomplishment for a job well done that may have eluded you in the past, and most importantly, you will gain confidence in yourself.
