To Progress, One Must Make Decisions

by Michael Berry on September 26, 2014

boldnessIt has been said that things don’t change if things don’t change. In reality, things don’t change if people don’t change.
All  successful Bold Decisions have this in common: the decision-makers went against the grain, they were heavily criticized, they continued despite opposition, they stayed true to their vision, they Course Corrected when necessary, and they Finished The Job.
Life is set up in such a way that you always have a choice. Time marches on, and you fill its space with choices. Not making a decision is, in fact, deciding not to choose. In the modern world, not deciding is really choosing to be slowly left behind, to be slowly outdated and to be irrelevant. If this is what you want for your life, deciding not to choose is exactly what will create this result.
Personal development is our business and our life.

In personal development we learn that “we all see and experience the world not as it is, but as we are”.
