Create Real Value for Others

by Michael Berry on September 25, 2014

Catch-the-SunMany people believe that in order to get ahead in life you need to hold others back; that you need to prevent others from moving up The Ladder. However those who have experienced real and vast success in their lives have realized this is rarely, if ever, accomplished alone—it is created with others that assist in pushing in the same direction.
There are those who wish to put the world under their thumb and have authority over others. These people can aspire to seemingly great heights as well, and can resort to marginalized tactics to reach their goals.
It is true that you can be seen to be winning either way. You can help those around you to become stronger and more successful, and in turn you are providing a valuable service. You are more successful and you are nourishing society. Or you can be the disease of society and make those around you weak and confused so they will give you their money and not get anything that has the potential of real value in return.
Even in the world of self-help and motivation, there are those who teach how to get money and success without providing a valuable service in return. These people sell techniques that confuse and manipulate, rather than simply and easily demonstrating value.
Long-term win/win success is created by taking attitudes and perspectives that allow for a person to create real value for others in a way that also benefits oneself.
Personal development is our business and our life.
Michael Berry
In personal development we learn that “we all see and experience the world not as it is, but as we are”.
